What is outside-in website monitoring?
OrionCmd watches your websites from the outside and tells you what to do next when something breaks. Checks run from outside your network so you see what the public internet can see.
Do I need to install anything?
There is nothing to install on your server, no agents to deploy, and no code changes required. Website monitoring does not need an on-site agent.
What does OrionCmd check?
Three watch stations: monitoring and uptime (HTTP availability, DNS, firewall endpoint reachability), SSL/TLS expiry, and security exposure signals — plus optional authorized scans. Each check states its limits next to the result.
What happens when a check fails?
You get an alert in your preferred channel. Instead of a generic error code, each notice explains what was observed, why it matters, and what to do next — spot the issue, understand it, check it again.
Is this a guarantee that nothing will go wrong?
No. Results are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. OrionCmd does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or detection of every outage or vulnerability.
